Stepping Stones Educational Therapy Center provides a high quality preschool experience to families with children between the ages of 6 weeks through 5 years old. Young children at Stepping Stones are nurtured and supported in such a way that promotes positive self-esteem and provides the opportunity for optimal growth in all areas of development. We believe that given the right start, children find ways to learn that are right for them. That is why at Stepping Stones Educational Therapy Center, our unique approach to learning gives children both the guidance and experience to construct knowledge in ways meaningful to them. Our highly trained teachers and staff help to develop young children’s curiosity and wonder, allowing them to explore and discover in a safe, loving environment. We pride ourselves in having inclusion and diversity in all of our classrooms. We have found that this fosters a level of compassion and empathy in our students. Children in our preschool program are motivated to be creative, problem-solvers, life-long learners, and engaged individuals. We have been awarded a three-stary Quality Rating, the highest rating of Bright From the Start’s Quality Rated program. Our program is one of two centers in Spalding County that is Quality Rated.
Each of our individualized classes take into consideration the age, maturity level, and developmental stage of your child.
Infants enrolled in this class adhere to their own individual schedule throughout the day. As a result, feeding, diapering, and napping are each an integral part of the daily curriculum. Our teachers and staff begin the foundational work for learning and help infants begin to develop motor skills.
Young toddlers are enthusiastic little learners with lots of energy. At Stepping Stones, we specialize in channeling all that energy into things that help them learn and grow. Our teachers and staff lead them through age-appropriate activities to improve coordination, increase verbal skills, and learn to problem solve.
2 YEAR OLDS
Children truly begin to discover their talents, as well as dream up new ideas. At Stepping Stones we believe that all children are capable and talented, and that they learn best when they learn in their own ways. Teachers and staff guide them to discover and develop new skills and talents.
3 YEAR OLDS
The three year olds are full of wonder and spend a lot of time watching, observing, and imitating. Their days are filled with busy exploration of their world. Learning can be accomplished in everyday tasks. At Stepping Stones we know that three year olds are like sponges they just soak up knowledge.
